General Responsibilities

The Vendor Network Specialist creates, maintains and builds maintenance-related vendor relationships within Donlen’s vendor network.  In a date-intensive environment, the incumbent will ensure vendor data integrity including IRS compliance and address issues that may affect Donlen’s ability to analyze vendor activities. Identify areas for optimizing vendor support, system administration, reporting and internal customer needs. Support key processes and metrics designed for improved practices.  Support the Vendor Network Manager with selected and key vendor initiatives.
- Negotiate, document and implement vendor agreements.
- Establish and nurture relationships with maintenance vendors, coordinate and resolve workmanship issues requiring vendor network team support.
- Manage internal CRM system (CARE) issues pertaining to maintenance vendor issues to include tracking to completion.
- Monitor CARE with a focus on identifying root causes, trends/patterns that indicate a process improvement opportunity.
- Support Vendor Network Manager and serve as their substitute when necessary, including representing Donlen to clients, intervening in issues as necessary and supporting sales efforts as required. 
- Work as a team with Vendor Management and Maintenance Department to maintain clients value perception and ensure Donlen’s competitiveness.
- Provide point of contact for Maintenance Department staff in locating appropriate vendors, vendor relationship opportunities and clarification of maintenance related service(s).
- Processing activities relating to vendor enrollment, data integrity and IRS compliance.
- Database administration relating to all stages of relationship with vendor.
- Promote vendor network capabilities and coverage to internal and external stakeholders
- Support sales efforts in RFPs and selective requests around the maintenance vendor network offering and capabilities
- Close interaction with Advisors/Supervisors – understand and support their responsibilities toward managing the maintenance process for Fleet Maintenance customers, assistance with advisor questions, training and daily repair approvals for fleet repairs

Mandatory Requirements

- Minimum 5 years work experience, preferably in a sourcing/supply chain capacity
- Experience in the automotive services and/or fleet management industry highly desired
- A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
- In-depth use and knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Use problem identification and solving techniques to anticipate and prevent problems that may impact clients and/or Donlen
- Strong computer skills
