General Responsibilities

The Vice President Business Development (VPBD) Accident & Safety is responsible for developing new safety and accident service revenue for Donlen and for establishing strong client relationships. 
- Developing and maintaining a database of prospects and customers that fit within the existing Accident & Safety market
- Generating appointments/sales calls, and traveling as necessary to meet prospects and customers
- Effectively communicating Donlen’s value proposition to sign new business with and increase penetration of existing customer portfolios
- Managing a robust sales funnel and exceeding annual growth targets
- Develop working relationships with Donlen Account Executives and VPBDs to assist in selling identified Accident & Safety targets
- Creating a positive image of Donlen Corporation at local business functions
- Coordinating with marketing staff to optimize lead generation and sales support functions
- Managing expenses on a monthly basis 
- Complex relational selling is required
- Excellent ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style
- Excellent time management skills
- Goal-oriented sales professional with discipline to work independently is required
- Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and/or complaints
- Superior written, verbal and presentation skills, and professional presence are required

Mandatory Requirements

- S. Diploma/GED required; Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
- 5+ years in the fleet, safety, or automotive industries
